Well, ok…where to start with 2025? Markets are in freefall. Then they aren’t. Then they are. Canada is mad. THE CANADIANS! The good news is that the fam is still here, the Alchemix team is still working hard for the future of finance, and Fireside is still going strong. We are on the cusp of v3 (soon) and we are excited about it! There is quite a bit to unpack from 2025 thus far, so let’s dive in. And, no, everything’s not computer…

A Time for Reflection
2024 was an action packed year, both inside DeFi and out. We want to take this opportunity to thank the Alchemix community for all of the good times, hard work, and looong Fireside debates. Thank you!! So much was achieved last year, but some of the highlights are:

Good News! Our Discord wen bot still works, and its still pretty accurate. Audits for v3 kicked off at the end of February and scoopy provided some high level updates in Discord. TL;DR; no critical bugs were found and things are looking good for a launch date that is still TBD. Some exciting new products will be part of this launch, so keep an eye out for our next update. Einstein Would Be Proud
Alchemix partnered with Wormhole, an interoperability platform that is dedicated to powering multichain apps and bridges within DeFi. Their main product, Wormhole Connect, provides a robust bridging tool for protocols in as little as 3 lines of code. This is an exciting new step for Alchemix and offers the userbase fast, efficient and secure cross-chain capabilities.

Faith and Alchemix
An area of finance that is seldomly talked about, but is gaining traction, is socially responsible investment options. Some of the Alchemix team had the opportunity to talk with @KhanAbbas201 and how our self-repaying loans offer a halal investment opportunity for those looking for something less traditional. This interaction, and the unique interest-free feature of this strategy, demonstrates how Alchemix is capturing the attention of worldwide markets, offering a bit of something for everyone.
The Hype is Real!

Aura Finance is also hyped about what v3 has in store for the DeFi community, and we are so close! So, yes, Balancer, this is the official announcement, of an announcement, of an, *checks notes*, announcement; v3 is imminent!
Spreading the Love
Alchemix had the honorable opportunity to jointly sponsor the Rare Evo event at ETH Denver in early 2025. The party had a great turnout and was hosted by Lmeow-Woof with exceptional atmosphere. The next Rare Evo event is taking place in August at the prestigious Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Maybe we will see you there :)
Feeling the Rush
Our very own scoopy hosted an AMA event with Golddigerscalls, an incubator and marketing firm committed to bringing Web3 to Africa. You can listen to the AMA here and scoop (hehe) some alpha at the same time.
