AIP-87 Launch Alchemix-Premia options pools
Status: AIP-87 is up for a snapshot vote until April 13, 2023 at 21:00 UTC
This proposal seeks to further Alchemix’s mission to increase TVL and decrease emission spend on LP rewards by establishing an Alchemix pool on Premia, a decentralized options protocol. Creating an additional market for alAssets through options could help Alchemix bolster alAsset trading volume, create buy pressure for these assets, and increase TVL without needing to pay for incentives. This will be done through high LTV alAsset loans on Premia, which will be restricted to Premia liquidity pool deployment only. This proposal includes a $50k treasury swap between Alchemix and Premia, as well as a potential grant (if AIP-87 passes) for Alchemix to develop a UI. Options trading can be tricky, even for seasoned degens, so check out these articles by Premia for a refresher: What are Options and DeFi Options 101. AIP-88 PancakeSwap trial and emissions allocation update
Status: AIP-88 is up for a snapshot vote until April 13, 2023 at 21:00 UTC
The last year has brought many changes to crypto protocols, and Alchemix is no different. Despite many changes to the Alchemix protocol, there has not been an official change in ALCX emissions in the last 9 months. The main purpose of AIP-88 is to account for all governance changes and multisig adjustments that make up the current emission allocations and to set up a temporary emissions framework ahead of the veALCX launch. This temporary framework will allow the multisig to be more flexible with expected emissions changes. Additionally, this proposal seeks approval to allocate $30k worth of ALCX to two new PancakeSwap pools, alETH-ETH and alETH-ALCX. These pools will have a two month trial period for Alchemix to test their effectiveness. Head over to the full proposal to see the current state of affairs, proposed changes, and details on two new potential pools! And don’t forget to vote!!!
Since the last update…
AIP-85 met quorum and passed a snapshot vote approving $50k of ALCX to be used for liquidity pilot programs.
AIP-86A passed a snapshot vote, adding a frxETH strategy to Alchemix with an initial 100 fxsETH deposit limit.
AIP-86B passed a snapshot vote, authorizing a 10k ETH2 vault cap increase; note the 10k is a limit and will occur over a period of time.
