Status: AIP-74-A is up for a snapshot vote until December 24, 2022 at 12:00 UTC Status: AIP-74-B is up for a snapshot vote until December 24, 2022 at 12:00 UTC
AIP-74-A and AIP-74-B are both live for voting and both have impacts on how Alchemix’s Grant Allocations for Optimism will be spent. In September, Alchemix applied for grant funding through Optimism and was awarded 250k OP tokens ($250k at that time). The 250k tokens will be split in half, with 125k tokens for Vault Boosts and 125k tokens for Liquidity Incentives. These two proposals will decide exactly how the 125k tokens are spent. AIP-74-A focuses on Vault Boosts and has 8 voting options, including Aave and Yearn vaults. AIP-74-B focuses on Liquidity Incentives and has 7 voting options, with combinations of alETH, alUSD, and MAI weights. Be sure to fully read both proposals for details on how each option affects the protocol.

Governance Process Update
Recently, a new Governance Process for Alchemix was enacted and official AIPs will now require a 50k ALCX quorum to be enacted by the multisig. There are a few other changes in the AIP process, as well as helpful information on how to submit a well formed proposal, so checkout the documentation for full details. This concludes our public service announcement.
